Mai, nach Sins im Aargau. Anl\u00e4sslich des 50-j\u00e4hrigen Jubil\u00e4ums seines Seilziehvereins veranstaltete Sins ein Internationales Turnier. 700 Athletinnen &amp; Athleten sind aus ganz Europa &amp; sogar aus den Vereinigten Staaten angereist, um sich an zwei Tagen in sechs Kategorien zu messen. Die M\u00e4nner in der Kategorie 680kg-Klasse, ohne Beteiligung des Seilziehclubs Gonten &amp; die Frauen der 540kg-Kategorie durften das internationale Turnier er\u00f6ffnen. Die Gontnerinnen wurden durch zwei Frauen aus anderen Schweizer Clubs unterst\u00fctzt. Sie verpassten das Halbfinale knapp &amp; erk\u00e4mpften sich den sechsten schlussrang von elf gestarteten Teams. Am Samstag ging es dann weiter mit der Kategorie Herren 580kg. Bruno Sch\u00fcrpf unterst\u00fctzte tatkr\u00e4ftig den Seilziehclub Thurtal. Bei den Frauen 500kg ging es am Nachmittag los. Gonten startete mit der gleichen Mannschaft wie am Heimturnier. Das junge Team zeigte sich stark &amp; konnte sich als Gruppenzweiter einen Platz im Halbfinale sichern. Dort traf man auf die bisher ungeschlagenen Schwedinnen aus Brunnsberg. angriffsstark liessen die Gontnerinnen Brunnsberg keine Abwehrm\u00f6glichkeit &amp; k\u00e4mpften sich bis ins Finale gegen Sins. mit sehr viel Willensst\u00e4rke, in einem nervenaufreibenden final, waren es letztlich die Sinserinnen, welche verdient den Sieg an ihrem Turnier erk\u00e4mpften.
